TENSOR was founded by Prof. Dr. Constantin Bratianu in 1996. With a Ph.D. in numerical modeling and simulation of fluid dynamics from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, and extensive knowledge of the Romanian energy industry, Professor Bratianu recognized a significant gap in the market. He saw the need for advanced methods and software programs for modeling and numerical simulation of industrial processes in Romania.
In 1998, Cristina OPREA took over the management of TENSOR, continuing its development as a research and consultancy company with a clear goal to bridge the gap in the market by introducing advanced numerical simulation software programs to the industrial sector.
The company grew step by step, serving clients across multiple countries and industries.
